Op 350 m van de camping ligt het stationnetje van HONY. Er zijn twee perrons. Op perron 1 neem je de trein naar Luik, ten noorden van de camping. Op perron 2 neem je de trein naar het zuiden richting Marloie met verschillende stops zoals in Esneux, Sy en Barvaux (Durbuy). Op weekdagen is er in elke richting 1 trein per uur; in het weekend is dat 1 trein om de twee uur.
At 350 m from the campsite is HONY railway station. There are two platforms. On platform 1 you take the train to Liège, north of the campsite. On platform 2 you take the train south towards Marloie with several stops such as Esneux, Sy and Barvaux (Durbuy). On weekdays, there is 1 train every hour in each direction; on weekends, 1 train every two hours.
La gare de HONY se trouve à 350 m du camping. Il existe deux quais. Sur le quai 1, vous prenez le train pour Liège, au nord du camping. Sur le quai 2, vous prenez le train vers le sud en direction de Marloie avec plusieurs arrêts tels que Esneux, Sy et Barvaux (Durbuy). En semaine, il y a un train toutes les heures dans chaque direction ; le week-end, un train toutes les deux heures.
Vooraleer je de trein opstapt moet je in het bezit zijn van een ticket. Om je reis te plannen en tickets te kopen kan je de website van de Belgische spoorwegen consulteren of hun app (NMBS-app) downloaden. Op perron 2 (en enkel op perron 2) kan je een ticket kopen aan de ticketautomaat. Opgelet: als je naar Luik wil reizen en eerst een ticket hebt gekocht op perron 2, moet je via de weg terug naar perron 1 stappen.
Before boarding the train, you must be in possession of a ticket. To plan your journey and buy tickets, you can consult the Belgian railways’ website (in German) or download their app (SNCB app). On platform 2 (and only on platform 2) you can buy a ticket at the ticket machine. Attention: if you want to travel to Liège and have first bought a ticket on platform 2, you will have to walk back to platform 1 via the road.
Avant de monter dans le train, vous devez être en possession d’un billet. Pour planifier votre voyage et acheter vos billets, vous pouvez consulter le site web des chemins de fer belges ou télécharger leur application (SNCB app). Sur le quai 2 (et uniquement sur le quai 2), vous pouvez acheter un ticket au distributeur. Attention : si vous voulez vous rendre à Liège et que vous avez d’abord acheté un billet sur le quai 2, vous devrez revenir au quai 1 par la route.
Vanaf de camping stap je rechts de weg op en kom je 300m verder op dit punt uit. Links omhoog is naar perron 1 voor Luik; rechts onder de brug naar ticketautomaat en perron 2.
From the campsite, step right onto the road and come out 300m further at this point. Left up is to platform 1 for Liège; right under the bridge to ticket machine and platform 2.
Du camping, prenez à droite sur la route et sortez 300m plus loin à ce point. La gauche en haut est vers le quai 1 pour Liège ; la droite sous le pont vers le distributeur de billets et le quai 2.
Ticketautomaat station Hony
Het hoofdstation van Luik is het moderne station van Luik-Guillemins van de beroemde architect Calatrava. Het bezoek meer dan waard! In 16 min ben je er vanuit station Hony. Vanaf Luik-Guillemins is het mooi wandelen langs de Maas tot in het historisch centrum (20 min). Luik-Carré en Luik-Sint-Lambertus zijn twee kleine stations verderop richting centrum. Tot Luik-Sint-Lambertus is het 30 min sporen vanuit Hony.
Liege’s main station is the modern Liege-Guillemins railway station by famous architect Calatrava. Well worth a visit! It takes 16 min to get there from Hony station. From Liège-Guillemins it is a nice walk along the Meuse to the historic centre (20 min). Liège-Carré and Liège-Sint-Lambertus are two small stations further on towards the centre. To Liège-Sint-Lambertus it is 30 min of tracks from Hony.
La gare principale de Liège est la gare moderne de Liège-Guillemins, œuvre du célèbre architecte Calatrava. Cela vaut bien une visite ! Il faut 16 minutes pour s’y rendre depuis la gare de Hony. Depuis Liège-Guillemins, une belle promenade le long de la Meuse permet de rejoindre le centre historique (20 min). Liège-Carré et Liège-Sint-Lambertus sont deux petites stations situées plus loin vers le centre. A Liège-Sint-Lambertus il y a 30 min de trajet depuis Hony.
